We would like to share our traditional Portuguese cuisine with you. Join us for this women-only culinary break at Casa de Ribeira. It is a hands-on experience designed to teach you to make authentic and traditional Portuguese recipes. Learn new dishes, make new friends, and take home new techniques and ideas to make cooking at home more enjoyable.
The 5 days will be spent in the Casa de Ribeira, between the learning and cooking, accompanied by the instructor Paula. There will be tours to the local market to shop fresh food supplies, a wine tasting experience, and a yoga class. You will also have free time to enjoy the Casa the Ribeira, to rest or to explore some wonderful walking trails in the nearby coastline. Lively evenings will be spent by the fireplace, with wine, music, and games.
To Paula, cooking is a matter of passion. She was born near Sintra and lived immersed in the culture, customs, and traditions of her parents and grandparents. Paula masters the ancient secrets and techniques of the Portuguese cooking and maintains by heart many traditional recipes.
